Another Step Forward
Hello friends! Time for something more uplifting, methinks. 
I submitted my application for an MA in Islamic Studies last night! Woo! Three years hard work here I come! (Always assuming I get accepted of course…)

What was your Undergrad, if you don’t mind saying?
My undergrad was Arabic and Islamic Studies. If I get onto this course it will complement my undergrad nicely.
Sounds fascinating, not to mention highly relevant. It’s an area that genuinely needs to be studied. Little will help the world so much as a greater understanding and appreciation of Islamic culture and traditions (of all cultures, if you ask me).
I’ve written before here about how that is exactly my reason for wanting to do this course.
Heh I reckon it’d almost have to be ‘eh… that and/or the assurance that a firm grounding in Arabic etc. allows you to freely travel more of the globe than most could, and when I say freely it’s fully aware that these days travel seems to put your life in danger with uncommon frequency.
It looks a brilliant course! I really hope that you ENJOY it… that you find it all invigourating and relaxing…
